Hi there, I'm Christine.
Most days my brain feels like Johnny #5 ("Input!") while my hands need an outlet to create.  At the end of a busy day, I recharge in a quiet space with tea in one hand and chocolate in the other.

I love serving the world by learning from our ancestors and creatively using our current resources to build a healthier future. In my home life, that could be as simple as choosing reusable products over disposables. As a creator, I use vintage techniques and upcycled materials to create new products. When I play historian, I teach people about customs of the past, the reasons behind them, and how they relate to the present. And as a lactation consultant, that means treating breastfeeding as a biologically normal act that's nourished young humans for millennia.

As varied as my interests are, they all have one common theme: teaching. People have always told me I'd be a great teacher, but I knew that classroom teaching wasn't my cup of tea. Now I am lucky to have different interactive platforms where I can share my expertise with parents, children, health care professionals, history buffs, and the general public. I get to bring new life to boring - or even overwhelming - topics!

When I'm not busy helping babies breastfeed or working on my next project, you can find me trying to soak up some sunshine and fresh air without getting sunburned.
